The Club held its annual Fall Coffee at Evergreen Mansion on September 12th. Members enjoyed a lovely coffee organized and supervised by the indomitable Tammy Schnydman. A brief business meeting was held and we met our new Scholarship Student, Rachel Tepas who is in the new program Medicine, Science and Humanities. This was followed by Susan Weiss introducing the speaker, Catherine DeAngelis, MD, MPH discussing her ideas and book “Pursuing Equity in Medicine” with a talk entitled “Onward ever onward”, which was fascinating, full of wisdom and humor.
